Out on our morning walk during 'bring out your dead' kerbside pickup in Aubin Grove we came across several piles of dumped (obviously moved from the original kerbside where it was placed) items. We also found broken plastic toys adorned the discarded items left out to be picked up. This made me think...plastic verses wooden toys?? In our 'throw away' society wouldn't it be better not only for us but for the environment to purchase sustainably produced wooden toys? Not only are they environmentally friendly but also allow an opportunity to 'hand down' these toys to our children's children? Now that are not only 'Wooden Toys' they are 'Heirloom Wooden Toys'
